Anyone out there have any ideas on books for possible future complete tuning and diagnostics on vintage vespas? The Haynes books etc are pretty useless when it comes to the above requirements. I know there is an equivalent book for Lambrettas out there that is excellent, it looks at every possibility.

Norrie Kerrs book is the only tuning book.

The old Pitman manuals come up on Ebay once in a while, but only cover bikes up till, I think, early 60s bikes. They can be expensive

Also, the old Piaggio Service station manuals come up on Ebay once in while, but usually go for well over $100. Best bet on them is to forge a good relationship with your local vintage shop. They will have a collection and can some times be persuaded to let you use their photocopier.
